This category contains all reptilian characters.

Reptiles are tetrapod animals that first evolved on Earth approximately 312 million years ago during the Carboniferous period. Unlike amphibians, reptiles do not have an aquatic larval stage. Most reptiles are oviparous, although several species of squamates are viviparous. They generally have very dry, scaly skin and, unlike amphibians, do not require to keep their skin most in order to survive. Reptiles are classified as such:

  • Kingdom: Animalia
  • Superphylum: Deuterostomia
  • Phylum: Chordata
  • Subphylum: Vertebrata
  • Class: Reptilia
